Your Hospital Stay

Your Stay as a Private Patient

Coming into hospital can be a worrying time, so by making your stay comfortable we hope to help you relax as much as possible. With your own room and en-suite facilities* you will have the peace and privacy you need to rest and receive visitors. We provide an a la carte menu for all our private patients, which is extended to your visitors so that you can enjoy a meal together.

If you are visiting one of our daycase units, please see our dedicated hospital stay daycase page.

Our customer service and clinical staff will answer any queries that you might have throughout your stay and will also provide suitable information for you to take home. Before or after your stay we are just at the end of the phone to answer any queries you might have.

Your Patient Journey

We have provided the following information on each step of your stay with us which we hope you will find of use.

Infection Prevention and Control

All of our Hospitals have strict nursing and cleaning procedures which reduce the risk of infection to very low levels. We would advise you to have a shower or bath with soap on the evening before or on the day of your surgery to further reduce the risk of a wound infection.

Please visit our information page on MRSA screening for further information.
